Our Story

SwEll Coffee started back in 2006 as a tiny hole-in-the-wall café on the edge of Wollongong’s CBD. We were all about quality, consistency, and great service. Pretty quickly, other local cafes began asking if they could serve our coffee too.

By 2013, we were roasting and delivering along the South Coast from Sydney to Huskisson, and our wholesale side took on a life of its own.

After 13 years of running our own café, we made the decision to focus fully on roasting. These days, we supply a growing community of home brewers and café owners with blends we’re proud of, like our Cafe Blend, Swell Decaf, and the bold Five Islands Blend.

We’re still a small business, and we still care about every cup. Whether you’re brewing at home or running a café, we’re here to help you serve something swell.
